Role in Band:  BASS!

How did it all begin?  Started playing at 14, along with a couple of friends..  wanted to
be a rockstar….

Who were your original influences?  Sabbath, Kiss, Zepp.. So on.. Then I heard the
Ramones in 1976,   changed my life!

Who are your current influences? Those same bands.. Plus most early punk
bands..  Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, Damned, etc….

What is your proudest moment as a musician?    Playing at my daughters
elementary school carnival…..

What is your most embarrassing moment as a musician ?   Playing (sort of)  in an
alcohol black-out, and running off with the gig money…

What do you think would have been your path through life if you had never
gotten involved with music?
  Incredibly boring….

Tell us something about yourself that few people are aware of.  I sometimes
listen to emo….

When you look back on your musical path to this point, What is your biggest
regret? What is my biggest regret?
    None…

If you had the opportunity to start over, what would you change?     I wouldn’t
have pawned any of my (now) vintage gear….

Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?    My Pop…

Please summarize the highlights & lowlights of your musical career.
Highlight- Opening for Stiff Little Fingers, two days after 9/11
Lowlight… Playing a whole set at the Cuckoo’s Nest naked..

What are your thoughts on the current "Punk" scene? How much has it changed
or stayed the same since you got into it?  Sometimes when JFA is playing, I’ll look out
and see tons of 14-18 year old kids who know all of the words, to all of the songs, and I
think it’s great. I always knew punk rock music ruled, even when there were few of us
into it. There’s a lot of good young bands out there these days, who have the spirit and
attitude that we did when we were kids, ands that’s all you need!

What are your plans musically in the future? I’m gonna play ‘til they won’t let me on
a stage anymore!
